Milwaukee 4-Year-Old Killed in Accidental Shooting; 16-Year-Old Arrested
A 4-year-old child died on Saturday, October 24, after being accidentally shot by a 6-year-old who gained access to a loaded firearm, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
Police said the shooting happened inside a home near 53rd Street and Center Street at approximately 8:55 a.m. The 4-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old was arrested for possessing a firearm. Authorities said criminal charges would be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
